Ikebana Iwaya Fund

The Ikebana Iwaya Fund(IIF) is an IRS 501(c) (3) non-profit organization established in 2006 to promote and support ikebana related activity in North America.  We seek to educate the general public and foster the growth of ikebana through collaboration and financial support of organizations with this shared mandate.

The Iwaya Fund is proud of its partnership with the I.I. North and Central America Region (NCAR).  The Iwaya Fund has invested in conferences and initiatives promulgated by the Ikebana chapters within the North and Central America Region.   NCAR’s role as a clearing house for vital data, education, local representation of I. I. HQ and individual ikebana schools as well as its teaching community make our association indispensable.  This close relationship ensures Iwaya’s ability to assess needs and trends within the ikebana community.

Reciprocally, NCAR Ikebana chapters makes known that the Iwaya Fund is built with public donations. The Estate of Sumako Iwaya is matching these donations into the Endowment Fund.  The dividend income generated by its permanent Endowment Fund is used to disburse as grants to all our stakeholders (I.I. chapters, ikebana study groups, schools and teachers).

Donations are both general and specific.  Donations may be made to the general fund or targeted towards your specific chapter, school, event or memorial.    As an IRS recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit, IIF provides donors with a receipt for income tax returns.  All Donation Forms and IIF Request Forms can be found at our website at ikebanaiwaya.org. With the support of NCAR Ikebana chapters,, IIF will continue to expand its outreach for the benefit of the ikebana community.

Ikebana Iwaya Fund (IIF) believes in promoting ikebana in North America. We  support any ikebana related activities from Ikebana International chapters to Ikebana school chapters. It is well worth the wonderful artistic creations, personal interactions and serenity that it brings. IIF is ready to assist you in this endeavor with grants or channeling the donations where desired.   As an IRS recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit, IIF provides donors with a receipt for income tax returns.

Please encourage your members to make donations designated to your organization through the Ikebana Iwaya Fund. All Donation Forms and IIF Request Forms can be found at our website at ikebanaiwaya.org. With you, IIF will continue to expand its outreach for the benefit of the ikebana community in the U.S.
